It’s getting the go-ahead.  A new waterfront development has been approved for Port Dalhousie.  The eight-storey building planned for Lakeport Road would include over 50 proposed condos and a new location for the Royal Canadian Legion.  The plan has been in the works for two years and now with council’s approval, it can move forward.  Not all St. Catharines city councillors were happy with the height of the building, while others say the development will be good for the area.
