Niagara Regional Police have charged five adult men and two youths in multiple child exploitation investigations.

Officers have laid 27 charges total; including sexual assault, luring, extortion and possession of child pornography.

The investigations carried out by the Niagara Regional Police Service’s ICE Unit were unrelated and there is no evidence that shows that the accused were associated with each other.

The identities of the adults are being withheld in order to protect the identities of the victims. The youth identities are being withheld due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
