Nick Dubanow has said he will be focusing on the retainment of families in Fort Erie, opportunities for future generations, and reasonable affordable housing for those who need it. Ann-Marie Noyes, who has past experience as a councillor has stated her focus to be towards the town as a whole; though high taxes, user fees, and infrastructure are among her top priorities of Ward 6.
Performances by the Fort Erie Multicultural Centre, Jun’s Niagara Taekwondo, and the Peacock School of Dance helped to make the evening memorable for all.
The night finished with a powerful speech by Mayor Redekop, who shared personal experiences that lead him to his dedication to Fort Erie and a vow to all residents that Fort Erie is and will continue to be ‘A Place For Everyone’ as all members of council and town staff continue their work.
