A letter from Metrolinx has left residents of Niagara Region with more questions than answers. The letter says all progress towards new go stations in the region have come to a halt as the provincial government is taking a new approach. The minister of transportation, Jeff Yurek, says third party investors are being sought in the establishment of new stations and lines including the planned Grimsby location. Information regarding the go lines from Niagara to Toronto which are set for completion by 2023 has not been released. The PC government wants GO to have a public and private partnership before proceeding.
