Investigators have tracked down the owner of three large dogs who allegedly attacked a Chihuahua in Port Colborne.

The incident happened at the Elm Street Naturalization Site last Wednesday. The Chihuahua was rushed to an animal hospital afterwards, but succumbed to it’s injuries.

The owner of the larger dogs promised to meet the Chihuahua owner there, but they never showed up.

Their name has not been released but they have been charged with having dogs at large. The humane society is looking into a muzzle order.

  1. The dogs in question are pit bulls and pit bull mix. These dogs should not be allowed in populated areas. You know it is just a matter of time before the victim is someone’s son or daughter.
